You can get a Maverick XL for a lot less money than these two trucks. Not everyone needs a Lariat with all that extra equipment. My Maverick XL has the Ecoboost engine and averages between 28 and 29 miles per gallon.

Have you checked hidden areas like the CV joints and transmission? I’m reading on forums about folks finding leaks there with less than 10,000 miles on some of their trucks. I just read about another owner who found her driveway full of (unidentified) fluid. All these issues and many recalls and none of these trucks have anywhere near 100k miles and are only 3 years old at most. This shouldn’t happen. I’m not confident in these making it very far without something happening.

Watch out for screen separation! I’ve got a 2024 Lincoln Reserve III, it’s only three months old and I just noticed today that can see that an ugly line that has now appeared between the two halves of the screen. I also see lines to the far left and right edges. The displays still work, but the illusion of a single screen has been shattered.

The thing is people get everything misunderstood It’s when you buy a car just to drive to .A to B and you maintain your vehicle and do the maintenance on time your car will last you forever But a lot of people out here drive their cars like shit so yes, you mistreat your vehicle start putting performance parts to try to make it go faster faster you’re going to mess up your car or something gonna have an issue. Doesn’t matter if the car is a Toyota Nissan Chevy or Dodge you take care of your car and your car will take care of you taking you anywhere you need to go trust me I used to own a 2013 Toyota Corolla car only 67,000 miles before the transmission went out on me and yes, I do drive like shit Maintain is take care of your vehicle… and I would not ever buy no Toyota again body feels cheap but they do have a good besides everything else over price, not worth my money and good economy
